Not Very Powerful For the Price

It looks nice, but I was expecting a lot more power from a 9 Speed hand mixer - especially at this price point. I'm not sure it will be able to make whipped cream.
Love, Love, Love this mixer!

I bought this mixer to replace an old Kitchenaid hand mixer that I have had for about 15 years. I love the power this mixer has. I mixes everything beautifully. I used the whisk attachment to mix up eggs for scrambled eggs. The eggs were so light and fluffy. I could never get the eggs that texture by hand mixing. I used the dough hook to blend meatloaf. It blended perfectly and made the best meatloaf I have every made. I can't wait to to use the dough hooks to mix meat for meatb I have used the regular beaters to bake a cake and make frosting. Both cake batter and frosting whipped up fluffier than before, making a much better tasting and more tender cake. I still have plenty of recipes to try with this mixer and I want to use the other attachments, but so far, this mixer is stellar. I couldn't be happier with a hand mixer like this one.
KitchenAid KHM926WH 9-speed Portable Mixer

This mixer is a replacement for a Kitchenaid 9-speed that I purchased 10 years ago. I don’t know if the speed-control button is faulty (as others have experienced) but it has less power than my old model. It bogged down in carrot cake batter from a recipe that was easy for my old mixer. I can only imagine how poorly it will perform in cookie batter. The most annoying feature of this redesign is the unbalanced heel rest—it’s tips over forward when batter is stuck to the beaters and makes a mess on the countertop. I wish I had never purchased it.

This mixer is great for mixing just about anything! I use it in a pinch if I'm not using my kitchen aid stand mixer. Its great for whipping up scrambled eggs too - it gets them super fluffy! Love this mixer and the led light up speed levels!

I love that this mixer has a very low start speed so that the ingredients that are being mixed don't splash outside of the bowl and that the power can be increased gradually to get the job done.
