Washer was defective right out of the box. The lid would not lock and therefore would not allow the machine to run.

This really is the best washer I’ve ever owned. Previous top load washers have always had balancing issues when washing sheets and blankets for us. This GE profile automatically senses the size of the load and has had no issues with balancing problems. It is the most quiet washer I’ve owned as well. It has Alexa capabilities if you like that technology but we don’t really use that. It syncs up with the matching dryer so the dryer knows exactly what temp and how long to dry the load, which is really cool. Smart wash uses the precise amount of water so it is extremely efficient. It also allows you to fill a chamber up with a lot of detergent and uses the precise amount so you don’t have to fill it for every load. A lot of cool features and just a well built washer.

GE Profile Series - PTW900BPTRS Washer in matte blue is a sleek nice looking washer. It has a multitude of great settings features which make laundry chores easier and simpler. It has a seperate area for liquid detergent and pods. The washer is amazingly quite during operation. Its washing drum is very large and can hold a large capacity of clothing or large comforters.
