Bought a replacement even though I had changed filter 2 months prior to really bad storm. The filtering after the storm on the replacement was not good. Have changed the filter every 6 months for the 2 years I have had the refrigerator. There has been many storms however didnt work well this time. LG Customer Service said it had to be the piping. Didnt argue because obviously she had to find an excuse. The replacement filter has survived the storm so far. The previous filter was faulty.
