This is my 2nd unit and both recorded 4 or 5 bluray discs and now neither records. Ive tried every brand of blank media I could find five different burning programs three different computers and even tried updating firmware. Everytime I try burning a bluray I get an error. The only reason I bought 2nd unit is the limited options from better known manufacturers. I wouldnt suggest this if your looking for reliability or a quality made player/burner especially since its higher price range. My last LG tv was about same poor quality.

Nice player for dvds. For Blu ray it needs a software package download from a 3rd party however. Would give it 5 stars if it came with all the needed software

Bought this in 2022 but broke within 2 months of purchase. LG wont honor warranty and will not respond to multiple requests. This player was great while it worked. I would not purchase again.

Got this unit to use as external burner for my HP laptop. It works flawlessly and without any issues. It burns all types of media that you could need. It came with software from Cyberlink which I wasnt all that keen on until I used the bundle included. Now it it quick and hassle free to use the included utilitys. It also is MDISC compatible to allow for the authoring of life time archives. Highly recommend this great AIO burner and player unit.
