I bought this product around august 2020 and I had to download a movie player program a separate program for it to run movies. The movie program only gives you 30 day free trial then you have to buy it So now I cant watch anything on it Its a waste of money plus its not silent at all unless its far away from you you can hear it plain as day

I bought this model at Wal-Mart and was advised it would work on my new laptop running win 11. It did not. The laptop is throwing a code 39 error. Drive is missing or corrupted. After trying every fix LG tech support said would work the external CD drive is still showing a code 39. Yet LG is trying to save face telling customers their windows 10/8 plugplay CD players are forward compatible. I tried 2 different LG product lines. Neither worked with windows 11
